“So 6 years ago I told my mom that there was no way I’d get involved at the library, I wasn’t a social person and I wasn’t a heavy reader. Fast forward to today, I’ve passed through the chair positions in our TLC (Teen Library Council), I’ve helped make various crazy ideas for events reality, I’ve put in hundreds of hours of community service for various groups here, and I’ve come to call all the corners of the library my home. Funny how it works out like that.
I am sad to see my time with the teen group come to an end, but have had so much fun both volunteering for and attending library events. I can’t wait to see what the teens in the library do next!”
