- Storytime is so much FUN!
Tuesdays from 2 pm to 3 pm
- Join us for Storytime and Crafts with Kris, for pre-schoolers and their families.
- Tuesday, May 6th will be our last "First Five Let's Read Together" program for a while
- Along with our fun story time and craft making, free books will be given out. We will be reading and
handing out copies of One Tiny Turtle by Nicola Davies. After May 6th, we will continue with our regular story and craft time every Tuesday from 2 - 3. We hope to start up the popular First Five program again in the late summer. We'll keep you posted.
- Well, Hey! We're still looking for people to join our local Friends' chapter to be officers.
- Please inquire at the branch. We're seeking people who'd like to give an hour or two a month
to meet with other officers and come up with new ideas to help out the library. This might
include membership drives, fund raisers, and general outreach.
- Donations
- We welcome your DONATIONS of books, audios, videos and magazines in good condition. Please drop them off during our open hours or leave them in plastic bags in the corner by the door, to protect them. Do NOT leave any non-library items in the book drop, please. This often fills the book drop and people cannot drop off their library materials. Thank You!
- STOP and SMELL the ROSES
- We have a wonderful array of used books for sale
at very fair prices for adults and kids. Browse for literary gems in our Book Sale Foyer!
- MAY DAYS' Readin' Deals are coming!
- If you don't want the pressure of a due date, we also sell
books, audios and videos, for adults and children, yes we do-in the "book sale lobby" of all places.
You can buy them and just never return them-without a peep from us. And, they are cheap.
Paperbacks generally go for 50 cents, and most hardcover books are $2, with the brand new ones going
for $3. BUT in the last two weeks of MAY, ALL BOOKS WILL BE HALF PRICE! Imagine that!
So pop on in and get a deal on books that you never have to return. Bring a bag!
