Interlibrary Lending Policies and Procedures

Interlibrary loan requests are accepted from any participating institution. Individuals must request materials through their local library system. Requests are accepted through OCLC, e-mail, FAX or ALA form.

The loan period is 8 weeks unless otherwise noted. 3-week renewals are considered on an individual basis. Items are loaned free of charge.

We will photocopy when possible. The first 30 photocopies from hard copy or 20 copies from microfilm/fiche are free. FAXed items are $2.00 per page.

Reference and rare items, newspapers, periodicals, CDs, DVDs, and special collections are non-circulating. Some microfilm may be borrowed on a case by case basis.
